List of Asian and Pacific countries by GDP (nominal)

This is a list of Asian and Pacific countries sorted by their nominal gross domestic product (GDP), the marketvalue of all final goods and services from a nation in a given year. The GDP dollar estimates presented here are calculated at market or government official exchange rates by the International Monetary Fund (IMF)N1.

This organization only calculates GDPs for its member states, which in 2009 excluded six countries : North Korea and the small Pacific nations Palau, Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Nauru, and Tuvalu. Hong Kong, Macau is included for comparison/totals purposes. IMF estimates that aggregate East Asian GDP will surpass the United States in 2012.[1]
